Despite the fact there are lots of errors with the written word in this book (doesn’t look like you have a proof reader !) the content is really good and will help coaches of all ages and at varying levels of the game.
A reference book that l will be returning to on a frequent basis to help in seasons to come.
One I would definitely recommend.
This is a great book and insight into game module, principles of play and creating your own philosophy. This is a brilliant book for new and experienced coaches. I have been doubting myself as a coach recently and after reading this I have a clear vision and philosophy which I have introduced and the team have really taken to it.
The perfect read for me. I've been wanting to try and develop some sort of philosophy or way of working, but i'v struggled to find a method to create it. This has given me a real clear and logical process in which to do it.
Enjoyed the idea of including transition into finishing. It's a trade of for me in realism and repetition. But this does provide an interesting though behind using Xg as an approach to creating practice
I've been coaching for 35 years now from Academy to grassroots and everything in between. Even though I'm 64 years old I'm always willing to learn - learning never stops. Only old people believe they know everything. This is an excellent book filled with well thought ideas.

Keeping Players Engaged
The repetitive nature of training can sometimes lead to a dip in player engagement. "50+ Sessions from Professional Football Clubs" effectively combats this by offering a constant stream of fresh ideas. By incorporating these drills alongside exercises from other Thefootballcoach titles, I can keep my players challenged, motivated, and eager to learn.
A really fascinating read, I have to say I really enjoyed the Game Model creation section. This is something I've thought about and toyed with, however this book has allowed me put some foundations into my coaching now. I also enjoyed the approaches to coaching and how different coaching interventions can be used.
